Our Commitment
Discover Simo’s commitment with science
The truth is simple: a child's multivitamin should prioritize efficacy, while providing to our kids, a joyfull experience. Simo is the result of that belief, a formula where rigorous pediatric nutritional science matters more than flavour tricks, sugar coatings or marketing noise.
Today’s market is saturated with products that masquerade as health support: gummies high in added sugars, artificial colours, synthetic sweeteners, and unbalanced formulas designed to taste good rather than nourish. We reject this approach.
Simo is formulated with purpose, grounded in the understanding that children don’t need more sugar; they need the right nutrients, in the right amounts, and in forms their bodies can use.
Why nutrition in childhood matters so deeply
Childhood is a unique biological window. During these years, the body builds the bones, tissues, immune capacity, and cognitive foundations that last a lifetime. Nutrition during this stage shapes not only immediate growth but also long-term health.
Fruits, vegetables, whole foods and healthy habits are (and will always be) the foundation of child nutrition. No supplement can replace them.
But the reality is that even with the best intentions, children do not always consume a diet rich enough in variety to cover all micronutrient needs. Busy family routines, selective eating, limited food access, and modern dietary patterns make “ideal nutrition” difficult to achieve consistently.
The data behind this reality is clear:
-
A recent international study found that over half of preschool-aged children had at least one micronutrient deficiency.
-
40 % of the European population has a deficit of Vitamin D.
-
Clinical research shows that even overweight or obese children can be micronutrient-deficient, reflecting the shift toward high-calorie, low-nutrient dietary patterns, commonly defined as hidden hunger.
-
In middle-income countries, 20% of adolescent girls consume fast food daily, and 32% consume it 2–3 times per week.
-
Globally, 46% of school-going boys and girls eat fast food at least once per week.
-
Adolescents in upper-middle-income countries are especially affected: 57% consume carbonated soft drinks daily, compared to 39% in lower-middle-income countries and 44% in low-income countries.
Overall, scientific evidence shows that inadequate food consumption patterns in childhood and adolescence are linked not only to obesity in youth, but also to later-life risks such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and certain cancers.
These patterns demonstrate the same truth everywhere:
